FREDERIK JAN DEPICKERE (*1983) is a filmmaker whose work flirts with truth, myth and hybrid forms of storytelling. He is skilled at getting intimately close to strangers, and creates meditative character studies on outcasts whose extraordinary life experience invite us to reflect upon our own course of life, convictions, and moral codes.
